VIC:Judge 'misinformed' on AFL great's brother

MELBOURNE, Feb 22 AAP - The judge who placed the brother of AFL great Wayne Carey on
a suspended sentence was given wrong information about his crime by prosecutors, a court
has heard.
Kevin Carey, known as Dick, was placed on a 15-month suspended sentence last year and
fined $17,000 after pleading guilty to one count of attempting to possess a precursor
chemical.
In the Victorian County Court on Tuesday, Judge Mark Gamble jailed one of Carey's co-accused,
Benjamin John Horn, 39.
